I hold her here
Within a dead embrace
As the last tear falls
Down her lifeless face

Sorrow fell
In the shape of rain
From a tearful sky
That would share my pain

“Won’t you please
Open up your eyes”
But away hope flew
And her slow pulse dies

Her stare so cold
And her limbs so weak
I lay down her head
And I kiss her cheek

Her face caressed
By a dim lit moon
“La femme que j’adore
We’ll be together soon”

Our souls dragged out
By the evening waves
Together forever
In the deepest of graves
